Dutch Passion – Bubba Island Kush

Bubba Island Kush has got that special hash plant look with leaves that turn dark blue in the latter stages of the flowering period. Average heights for this plant indoors are around a metre although it’s possible to grow larger plants in the right conditions and with a little skill and experience. This is a strain that is grown for its sheer quality rather than for the quantity of its harvest. Average flowering times are a little over 7 weeks and its buds have a very high density. The amount of resin produced makes this the perfect strain from which to produce a variety of cannabis extracts such as hashish, butane hash oil, wax and shatter all of which emphasise the strain’s unique terpene profile.

The flavour is typically earthy Kush underpinned by both sour and fruity tones. Dutch Passion tend not to release THC levels as this figure can vary so much depending on a wide range of factors including light intensity and individual grower skill but they do say that levels in excess of 20% are easily possible in the right hands and conditions.
