Description
Grown indoors, Gelato #45 reaches a height of between 100 – 120 cm. tall and yielding 650 – 700 gr/m2 in a flowering period that lasts for 70 days. Outdoor grown plants become much taller, growing to a height of between 200 – 250 cm. and yielding 1500 – 2000 gr/plant with harvests in northern latitudes being ready for the chop in October.
Gelato 45 is an easy and and resilient plant to grow and one that is adaptable to different grow media as well as cultivation techniques. In careful hands and the right conditions this can become a very colourful strain with the lime and olive green shade leaves superseded by a rich selection of purple, red and orange shades in the buds themselves. Buds are ovoid in shape and very dense with amber pistils and golden trichomes and very heavy resin production that would be good to exploit for extract makers.
Its complex range of terpenes reveals sweet scents of mint-chocolate ice cream and sweet berries while the palate features earthy pine, floral, Skunk and citrus. No THC figures are currently available athough this is a very potent strain with an effect that is relaxing, euphoric and mood enhancing.
